Following the appointment of 10 contractors for its Hospital 2.0 Alliance, the New Hospital Programme will deliver an online event on Thursday 23rd April to take a deep dive into its ambitions for the year ahead.
We’re hosting this live session to bring together four key speakers from the New Hospital Programme, so they can explore the ambitions for the year ahead and what they mean for the future of healthcare delivery. Those speakers are:
- Natalie Forrest, Chief Programme Officer
- Emma Whigham, Hospital 2.0 Alliance Operations Director
- Darren Colderwood, HDP Director
- Emily King, Industrialisation Director
The Hospital 2.0 Alliance aims to deliver hospitals that are faster to build, safer and digitally enabled through a new procurement model designed to revolutionise public sector construction – while also unlocking additional capacity within a constrained UK construction market.
Natalie Forrest, Chief Programme Officer at the New Hospital Programme, said: “The appointment of 10 construction partners to the Hospital 2.0 Alliance marks a major step forward – not just for the New Hospital Programme, but for healthcare construction in England.
“With this new procurement model and our alliance partners in place, we’re moving beyond simply building hospitals. We’re transforming how healthcare infrastructure is designed and delivered through a true alliance approach.
“This session is an opportunity to share how we’re enabling faster delivery, and how collaboration, innovation, and long-term investment in skills and social value are coming together to create a more sustainable model for the NHS.”
Taking place at 11.30am on Thursday 23rd April, the webinar will also include a Q&A section, giving the audience the opportunity to put their own queries to the New Hospital Programme team.
